One of the Restaurants managed by First Gourmet Academy
In October, 2013 First Gourmet Academy opened up its first restaurant, Kos Greek. This restaurant is located in the newly built Ayala mall U.P. Town Center along Katipunan. The idea of this restaurant is to serve simply authentic Greek food along with wines and the traditional Greek drink Ouzo. The menu is based a lot on the small spreads and dips called mezedes that is very common in Greece as well as in other Mediterranean countries under different names.
Yes, maybe you have thought about the name of our restaurant? Well our CEO and head teacher of First Gourmet Academy school, Mats Loo, comes from Sweden and there “fika” means having coffee with friends with some nice talks. In Sweden there are also three letters that the English alphabet don`t contain. One of those is the letter å and that is pronounced like the letter a in “wall”.
